Jayaraman is a Banking/NBFC veteran with 25 years of strong industry experience in Financial Services- Banking, NBFC- Mainstream & Startup Ecosystems, having worked at Marquee companies viz Citigroup, Standard Chartered, Fullerton, and Accenture.

Jayaraman is currently a Practice Leader in the Financial Services practice at Praxis Global Alliance where he will be engaged in the BFSI segment specializing in the Retail Asset domain assisting companies to Grow/Diversify/Digitize and Transform in the evolving & fast-changing sectors. Prior to associating with Praxis, Jayaram was heading the SME Business at Magma Fincorp. Earlier, he was the Director & Business Head at IndiaShelter Finance and Vistaar Finance ( both PE funded startups with a Networth of over 600 Crs), where he was instrumental in scaling the Network across Urban & Rural India. He successfully ramped up the acquisition engine for Retail Assets and SME business over the years and structured a lean setup based on cost & product innovation. He has also led several other critical initiatives while working at Fullerton India, Citigroup, and Standard Chartered Bank during his previous tenure driving the Unsecured Loans/ Secured Loans strategy, developing risk management frameworks and Operational Excellence projects
