27 Jun 2022
For the world to move ahead, we need new ideas, new thinking, and innovation. Our progress as human beings is solely due to the ideas and breakthrough innovations that have changed the course of history. Ideas driven by empathy and resolve to improve the lives of the underprivileged make social innovation special. Impact-driven innovations play a crucial role in unlocking viable opportunities, where for-profit entrepreneurs are taking the forefront in alleviating some of the world’s issues. The world has changed in the past few years, thus proving the adage innovate or perish, revealing just how important innovation will be as we move forward.
At Praxis, we understand the value of innovation. We aspire to innovate and improve, focusing on delivering superior outcomes, thus enabling organizations to build a better future.
We are delighted to partner with the Marico Innovation Foundation as Advisors for their Innovation for India Awards’ 2023. As Advisors, we have devised an efficient and comprehensive framework to evaluate applications. In addition, we will conduct thorough due diligence on the applications and their innovations to assess their overall impact.
About the Innovation for India Awards:
Launched in 2006, the biennial Innovation for India Awards is the first Indian platform to recognize and celebrate the pioneering work of game-changing Indian innovations. The platform has become the benchmark for recognition in the country, with the most prolific leaders and thinkers coming together to handpick and recognize the undiscovered innovations of India.
The process of identifying these game-changing innovations is one-of-a-kind and extremely robust. Through a 2-round jury process that includes in-depth due-diligence and on-ground immersion, interviews with the founders, and management by the knowledge partner, the jury hand pick the next significant innovations of India. The grand finale of the Awards is a carefully curated experience with an audience of over 1000 distinguished people. The evening leaves the audience inspired and mesmerized with extraordinary stories of innovation, perseverance, and change. In the past, the event has seen prolific thinkers, teen innovators, and thought leaders talk about their journey making the signature event an enriching learning experience for the guests.
The legacy of the Innovation for India Awards:
Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF) aims to nurture innovation in our country. In the initial years of existence, MIF conducted exhaustive research evaluating the journeys of various organizations in the business and social sectors struggling to survive but managed to turn around their scale simply by innovating.
Through Innovation for India Awards, MIF identifies and showcases game-changing innovations to an engaged audience and hopes to inspire a new generation of innovators through these efforts.
