Quantified Employability impact across ITIs using cohort comparison and structured outcome
13 Feb 2026
Designed an attribution-grounded impact assessment framework to measure employability improvement across ITI cohorts.
Client: Philanthropic organization
Offering: Impact assessment
Context
A national NGO sought Praxis' help to determine:
Whether its interventions were meaningfully improving student outcomes across ITIs
Which program components were driving real employability impact
How outcomes varied across geographies and student cohorts
Approach
Impact framework design: Designed a structured assessment framework spanning academic learning, employability readiness, and social outcomes
Institutional diagnostics: Conducted performance diagnostics covering student learning, completion rates, placement readiness, industry exposure, and post-training pathways
Primary data collection: Gathered data through student surveys, faculty interviews, and employer feedback across intervention sites
Counterfactual analysis: Analysed outcome differentials between intervention and non-intervention cohorts to isolate and attribute program impact
Praxis Delivered
Delivered a rigorous, attribution-grounded impact assessment that enabled the NGO to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of its ITI interventions, identifying specific program elements requiring redesign or scale-up, and providing a prioritized roadmap for strengthening employability outcomes. Equipped program leadership with evidence-based findings to guide resource allocation and program optimization across geographies.
