This report is an overview of the Indian startup ecosystem. It highlights that India has a prosperous and vibrant startup ecosystem which is booming. During 2016-20, Indian startups raised a total of $63 billion, making India the World’s third-largest tech startup. Three Indian cities are among the top 10 startup cities in Asia – Pacific, 2020. The current ecosystem is working to boost the investment environment.

to boost the investment environment. Support from the Government of India, increasing talent pool, changing entrepreneurial
mindset, and demand from global players are aiding the growth of startups in
various industries.
