The
paper explores the role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare across the
MedTech value chain from AI-enabled diagnostics, patient monitoring and
clinical decision support to medical device innovation, product development,
manufacturing, quality management and regulatory processes. It highlights how
AI-enabled medical devices can augment clinical expertise, improve healthcare
productivity, enable earlier diagnosis and extend access to quality healthcare,
particularly in areas where specialist expertise remains limited.

Importantly,

around local realities including affordability, infrastructure constraints and
