The ongoing climate crisis, economic slowdown, and the recent brush with the COVID-19 pandemic have all but highlighted the need for companies that are sustainable, prioritize employees and are run by strong leadership. And these are but three select examples. Recently,
SEBI made it mandatory for the top 1000 companies by market cap to submit BRSR
reports. This is likely to help increase compliance, and more such regulations
especially on the environmental side are expected to be observed in the near
future.

in the ESG regulations, laws, and policies that are being introduced globally
