It doesn’t bother Paytm whether its customers are using UPI, wallets, or cards as long as the transaction happens within its ecosystem. It has delinked its growth from mobile payments. Paytm wants to use its platform to sell multiple financial services such as digital gold, mutual funds, insurance, etc. Is wallet as a model losing its biggest exponent?
