Health insurance drives non-life insurers' biz up 13%: report

The overall non-life insurance business has grown 13% CAGR from Q2FY19-Q2FY22, mainly driven by health insurance, according to a report by Praxis Global Alliance. Health insurance rose 24% in terms of gross premiums underwritten by by non life insurers.
The gross premium underwritten by non-life insurers was Rs 64.3k crore in Q2FY22 of which the share of health insurance was 31%, motor insurance was 26% and other segments was 43%.
