Varsha has deep experience leading and conducting commercial due diligence for financial sponsors and strategic acquirers across the globe. She has worked across various sectors such as media and telecom, internet and e-commerce, consumer retail, shared mobility, and EdTech. Additionally, she has led several projects on opportunity assessment in the consumer retail space. She has worked abundantly on market sizing, competitive benchmarking, revenue modeling, and consumer intelligence.
She has also worked extensively on implementing various liquidity guidelines of Basel III to ensure 100% compliance with regulators and manage stakeholders across the UK, Japan, and the US teams. She has 3+ years of experience conducting a thorough audit of partnership firms and drafting Audit Reports. She also conducted in-depth research for her Master's thesis on “Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) and competitiveness of new ventures” where she analyzed how CVCs can boost corporations’ performance while creating value for potentially successful startups.
In her free time, she loves to read books across genres such as philosophy, finance, business management, sports, and mythology. She loves to dance and considers swimming as a form of deep meditation. She loves to try different cuisines and is an avid traveler, having toured more than 20 countries and counting. She has a knack to learn new skills and is an active member of the internal learning and development team at Praxis.
