Ishani has deep experience working on operational strategy projects across shared mobility, consumer tech, and pharma and life sciences ecosystems. She has conducted elaborate international market landscaping, charted a game plan for customer experience improvement, and most recently, analyzed the impact of COVID-19 outbreak on consumer goods, pharma, and core manufacturing sectors in India – with special focus on warehousing & distribution. Currently, she is helping develop the pharma and life sciences practice at Praxis which aims to provide top-notch service & expertise to stakeholders in the pharma ecosystem.
Previously, Ishani has worked for ~3 years at the pharma & consumer giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) across the product value chain & lifecycle. She has spearheaded incubation, approval & execution of projects across distribution, process optimization, procurement & forecasting stages for popular consumer brands – Horlicks, Boost, and Sensodyne. As a key part of the production management & digitization team at GSK’s largest and state-of-art Horlicks manufacturing facility, she has hands-on experience in launching novel tech projects boosting bottom-line by cost optimization, reliability promotion & increasing reliability. One of her key projects on efficiency enhancement helped GSK save INR 2 Cr annually in energy costs.
In her free time, Ishani loves to read, talk to people, and binge-watch documentaries. She devours mystery books & thrillers (die-hard Agatha Christie fan) and even wrote one herself at the age of 13! Since college, she has loved to teach – her students ranging from those in class 8 to her batchmates and peers.
